With an ultimate goal to create a new platform in which journalism students from South Florida will have the opportunity to get nominated for their journalistic work, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) chapter at Florida International University (FIU) will have their second awards ceremony on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 at the FIU Biscayne Bay Campus located at 3000 NE 151st Street, Miami, FL 33181 at 7 p.m.
Voces del Periodismo is open to all students in South Florida.
General rules

The participant must be enrolled for the semester in which the award ceremony will be held, in this case, Spring semester 2020, or have graduated in 2018-2019.

The project to be submitted, can be in English or Spanish. Any participant who commits plagiarism will be eliminated from the contest.

All sources must be cited.

If the project was done in a group, ALL contributor names must be stated and submitted.

The deadline for ALL projects is December 30, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.

All projects must be sent as an email attachment to vocesdelperiodismo@gmail.com or clicking the button below.

Audiovisual reports must be in MP4 format, written reports and photo reports in PDF format.
